Crypto Exchange Lama Rolls Out Visa Cards Offering 2% BTC Cashbacks

Lama, a regulated EU crypto exchange, is rolling out crypto Visa cards to allow clients to spend cryptocurrencies in everyday activities. According to the team’s statement, these cards can rapidly convert cryptocurrencies into fiat currencies, and users can spend their digital assets across the 70+ million Visa-accepted stores globally.

Lama offers both virtual and physical Visa cards to cater to the diversity of user preferences. Like any conventional credit or debit, the physical card can be utilized for in-personal transactions. In contrast, the virtual card can be used for digital transactions and online shopping.

In addition, the cards bring exclusive benefits, as users registered in the Gold plan can receive up to 2% cash back on all purchases, which will be paid in Bitcoin (BTC). This discrete feature sets Lama apart from traditional bank rewards programs by enabling users to get BTC during daily purchases.

Commenting on the new Visa cards, Brigham Santos, Head of Operations at Lama, stated:

“The Lama Visa card is an essential tool for anyone looking to make the most of their crypto assets. By using Lama Visa cards, users will easily convert and spend their digital currency at millions of merchants worldwide. This makes crypto tangible and accessible, allowing users to fully participate in the global economy.”

Visa has partnered with the largest crypto trading platforms over the past few years to create white-label Visa-branded debit cards. Meanwhile, launched in 2022, Lama is the latest crypto firm to join the fray. Lama combines crypto with traditional finance, offering customers a one-stop shop for all their banking needs.

Lama’s Visa Card Plans

To meet the diverse needs of its customers, the exchange has designed three Visa card plans that offer different features and advantages.

The first of these is the Bronze card. This free plan offers clients a single virtual card for online purchases. However, it has a limited set of features and offers a monthly transaction limit of €2,000.

The Silver plan costs €9.99 per month. This plane offers one physical card and three virtual debit cards. Users can get 1% cashback in BTC for all purchases. Its monthly limit stands at €7,000.

Lastly, the Gold plan is priced at €19.99 monthly. It offers a monthly transaction limit of €50,000. The plan includes five virtual and one physical card. Moreover, users can get premium customer support and 2% BTC cashback.
